| Hailsa and welcome to the online Wulf press kit. We
have been so overwhelmed by the worldwide response from
our myspace and renspace pages so we thought we'd take
our show on the road. Wulf was a dream of Drogo Wulf's
back in 2005 thanks to the influences of German bands
like Corvus Corax, Cultus Ferox, Fabula, Varius Coloribus
and the likes. We are the one and only North American band
of this new Neo-Medieval folk
explosion. We feel this is the next big musical genre to
sweep the western world and we want to be at the
forefront. Wulf's music is 9th to15th century medieval
played on authentic bagpipes (German Medieval Dudelsack) and drums. We are basically
a medieval rock band unplugged and full of superhuman
energy. Our costumes reflect a viking/barbarian influence
with a hint of middle eastern due to our involvement with
the bellydance communities that perform with us. We also
enjoy the company of fire arts troupes and daredevils
extraordinaire. In 2007 we played local street fairs,
festivals, haflas, parties, etc.. In 2008 we started our journey to
establish a regional stronghold as the premier band of
renaissance and medieval festivals in the midwest. In 2009
we would like to do this full time as the American version
of Corvus Corvus and play everywhere. With all of the new
festivals in the U.S. there needs to be a super band to
compliment them and bring people in. Please contact us
